This is super exclusive! Some of my new stuff. Hot off the press. So I need your input. Really. I know I say that a lot but this time I would love to hear from you (few). Do you like the boots? Should I add them to the red one? If so, what color? I like the gruesomeness of the red paint. I didn't really want to take away from that but I really like the boots with the white. Oh decisions, they become more complicated as the years go by...
i do like the boots! I also like the gruesomeness of the red as well. I don't know what to suggest about adding the boots to it. I think you are a talented artist, so whatever your first thought was is most likely the best thought.
actually the red on is my favorite, so dont get all spray paint happy. I like how it plays of the colors in the background.
I like the negative cowboy, but the horseshoes are a little strong for me and fight him. maybe if you went in an put another color of the horseshoes to tone it down. I dont know. something....i'll think about it.
Thank you both for the input. Kate, I will try to put a wash over the horse shoes and see how it looks. I wasn't sure about that green, sort of early '90's "hunter green."
I really like the red one also. I have an issue with wanting to ad more, more, more! and I'm trying to cope with the idea of 'less is more.'
I like the red with the bullets and the blood dripping down... very powerfully gruesome. I also like the negative cowboy with the vertical horse shoes, and one of them, "dangerously" the wrong way. I would turn the top one to U form again... one wrong is bad luck enough. The top cowboy is too postcard-y and the boots... well, um, er...
