Christmas in September!

Today I received a package in the mail, always exciting [even if you know it's coming]. I ordered a bike pannier and it's pretty rockin'. The colors aren't the best but the construction seems sturdy. Function over form in this case but it definitely serves as a great way to take the load off my back. The bag also gave me some good ideas for a custom pattern. When I have time to make things for myself this will be the first project I tackle. The more I look at it the sillier I think it looks. I feel like the wicked witch from the west with her baskets and bell: I'm trying to accept the fact that some things are just functional and necessary whether they look good or not, like helmets.
