After a very busy and playful weekend I decided I'd buck up and get some work done. Sunday I headed out to my parents and finish up some pieces. They have a fancy shop and a great place to spray paint indoors. My mess spread about. These photographs are terrible. In fact, my portfolio deadlines are fast approaching and I haven't even begun to consider how I'm going to accomplish professional photographs. Tagging mom's work table. She was a bit amused. While I worked on my stuff, mom taped and painted this Santa she bought a garage sale. It's just dandy!
I also finished my ornament for the swap but I'm going to wait awhile to reveal. I don't want to spoil the fun for my partner. On a serious note, somewhat dim, I may miss a deadline for one of my grad school apps. I just went to double check the deadlines and one appears to be Dec. 1. It's just not possible. I can't rush what I have begun, it's too risky. Most of the schools require submission by mid January but due to my poor organization I'm going to fail one. I feel guilty for running around and messing around every weekend but I just can't sit still. The weather, good friends, lots to do. I need to learn some self discipline and get back to focusing on balance. Welcome Monday!
